The Faculty of Agricultural Technology (FAT) is collaborating with PT Aerofood Indonesia (ACS) regarding the implementation of the Independent Learning-Independent Campus (MBKM) Program. The signing of cooperation document was carried out at FAT Building, Monday (29/4/2024).
Vice Rector IV for Planning, Cooperation and Internationalization Andi Kurniawan, S.Pi, M.Eng., D.Sc said that the collaboration with PT Aerofood ACS will bring the tri dharma education program closer to the industrial world.
“The research and community service education carried out by UB will be easier to implement if it collaborates with the industrial world,” he said.
Andi hopes that by more and more collaborations with industry, UB will be able to develop comparative advantages and provide added value for development in Indonesia.
Director of Finance and Human Resources of PT Aerofood Indonesia Mohammad Arief Wicaksono said that his party welcomed the signing of collaboration that had been carried out.
“Before signing the current collaboration, our industry had become a practice for many internship students. Therefore, through this collaboration we will formalize hat kind of added value we can get? What the faculty can do? This must be matched,” he said.
Vice Dean III for Student Affairs, Alumni and Student Entrepreneurship Dr. Ir. Mochamad Bagus Hermanto, S.TP., M.Sc said that FAT has carried out many creative innovations in food processing so that this collaboration can open up new opportunities in the field of industrial downstreaming.
