Accompanied by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs,  Vice Dean for  General, Financial, and Human Resources Affairs, as well as the Heads of Departments within FT UB. “Collaboration like this should be appreciated. Hopefully, this good relationship can continue to be maintained to open up wider opportunities for cooperation,” hoped Prof. Widodo in his speech.

This signing is strong evidence that marks the collaboration between FT UB and IHE Delft, which has been well-established for a long time. Then, this cooperation was strengthened again by signing the MoA at the end of this year.

Several forms of collaboration that will be carried out in 2024 will focus on academic research fields, such as joint publications. Academic activities such as international conferences, 3in1 programs, and many more will also be held.

In the research sector, FT UB and IHE Delft also plan to carry out academic research collaborations, which this year will carry out research by optimizing funding from the government through the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) and universities through the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM).

By strengthening cooperation between FH UB and IHE Delft, Prof. Hadi hopes that the two institutions can support each other and increase cooperation capacity through academic collaboration activities, such as joint research, student and staff exchanges, and lecturer exchanges.

In this initiation, the FTUB team was welcomed by Prof. Wim van den Doel, dean of the LDE University Alliance and a professor of contemporary history. Prof. Wim welcomes UB’s initiative to realize collaboration and hopes that it can increase UB’s interest in improving the quality of its human resources.

The Leiden-Delft-Erasmus (LDE) Universities is a strategic alliance between three universities in the Netherlands: Leiden University, Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), and Erasmus University Rotterdam. While they collaborate closely within the framework of LDE, each university maintains its entity and autonomy.
