FPIK UB Accepts Inbound Student from ENSAT Toulouse

Malang, 10 February 2025 – The Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (FPIK) Universitas Brawijaya (UB) has once again strengthened its global academic network by accepting inbound student from École Nationale Supérieure Agronomique de Toulouse (ENSAT), France. Alexandra Lamouliatte, a student from ENSAT Toulouse, will study in Marine Science Undergraduate Study Program during the Even Semester of 2024/2025.

The welcoming ceremony took place in the 2nd floor meeting room of FPIK UB and was opened by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Sc. Asep Awaludin Prihanto, S.Pi., MP. In his remarks, he welcomed Alexandra and emphasized FPIK UB’s commitment to create a conducive academic environment for international students.

The next session was filled by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Entrepreneurship, Prof. Dr. Eng. Abu Bakar Sambah, S.Pi., MT., who explained the mechanism of the student inbound program, including the facilities and services available for foreign students at UB. The Head of the Marine Science Study Program, Dr. Ade Yamindago, also provided an explanation regarding the technical aspects of lectures and courses that will be taken during the study period.

Alexandra Lamouliatte expressed her enthusiasm to gain knowledge and learn more about the marine environment in Indonesia. She hopes that the academic and cultural experiences gained at FPIK UB can become valuable provisions for her future in France.

Through this program, FPIK UB continues to be committed to expand international collaboration and support the exchange of knowledge and culture, in line with the university’s internationalization vision. (UB PR/ Trans. Iir)
