Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences University of Brawijaya (FPIK-UB) grabs the first champion over Rector Cup competition of 2016 Fresher Creativity Program. The celebration of FPIK-UB contingent’s victory conducted at first floor FPIK-UB’s main building, Thursday (10/Mar/2016).
In the competition, FPIK grabbed three gold, three silver and two bronze medals.
FPIK-UB’s Dean Prof. Dr. Ir. Diana Arfiati, MS mentioned that achievements have been grabbed by FPIK should be grateful and hopefully in this year PIMNAS (Pekan Ilmiah Mahasiswa Nasional/National Student Scientific Week), FPIK could contributes gold as previous years.
Meanwhile, Ir. Sukandar, MP as supervisor representative, added that efforts and hard works that he had been done since last year hopefully able to bring FPIK’s reputation in PIMNAS 2016.
“Although we have no place to practice and space used keeps moving place to place yet the result we reach is been quite satisfying. If we have better place, then the result likely to be better,” said Sukandar in wishes.
In addition to victory over Rector Cup, FPIK also grabs two other achievements, including a competition of national level young independent-entrepreneur and announced FPIK 2016 achieved-students (mahasiswa berprestasi/mawapares) on behalf of M. Ali Dhofir. M. Ali Dhofir will represent FPIK to compete with other faculties achieved-students to move forward in national level as UB’s delegate. [Oky Dian/Humas UB/trans. Denok]
