FKPH FH UB Holds Legal Courses Scientific Journal Discussing Strategies for Writing Quality Articles

The Legal Study and Research Forum (FKPH) of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Brawijaya held a Legal Courses Scientific Journal webinar with the theme “Compiling Quality Legal Articles: From Concept to Publication”, Saturday (3/22/2025), online.

One of the speakers, Fransiska Ayulistya Susanto, S.H., LL.M., explained that a good legal article is one that is able to offer a solution to the problem. She also divided three ways to find legal issues, namely observation, following interests, and reading relevant legal websites.

The publication of legal articles was revealed by the next speaker, Luna Dezeana Ticoalu, S.H., an alumna of FH UB who is now active as a research assistant at the Center for Regional Autonomy Development (PP OTODA) FH., which has three benefits, namely for academic interests, career development, and scientific recognition

The chief executive, Jesslyn Priscilla Wijaya, said that this activity aims to educate and hone the abilities of law students in writing popular scientific articles that are worthy of publication. “The goal is to educate and hone law students in writing popular scientific articles for publication which will later contribute to science,” she said.

The main director of FKPH Faculty of Law UB, Nurhasim, also added that this activity is part of the annual work program held twice in one management period. This webinar is also a series of openings towards the upcoming Call For Journal competition.

“It is hoped that this event can be a source of knowledge and additional insight as well as additional lessons for all friends to write journals so that they can be published,” said Nurhasim
