Faculty of Veterinary Medicine becomes the Host of Visiting Professor from Malaysia

The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FVM) Universitas Brawijaya (UB) hosted the Visiting Professor activity as an effort to improve the quality of veterinary education, research and innovation by presenting Professor Jasni bin Sabri, DAHP, DVM, PhD from Malaysia.

The theme raised was “Optimizing Veterinary and Forensic Pathology Education through Collaborative Teaching and Research Towards a World Class University”. This activity was carried out on (20/2-23/52024) in a hybrid manner with various programs, including teaching at undergraduate level and Veterinary Professional Education, mini-collaborative research, joint research and joint publications.

“I am very happy to be able to contribute to FVM UB. I feel like I have become part of the big family of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and together we have achieved significant strides in improving the quality of veterinary education, research and innovation. This collaborative effort not only broadened my academic horizons, but also reaffirmed my belief in the power of international cooperation in advancing the field of veterinary medicine. I look forward to continue collaboration and opportunities to enrich educational and research insights at UB,” said Professor Jasni bin Sabri.

Professor Jasni’s attendance at UB not only adds new enthusiasm to veterinary education, but also becomes a catalyst for innovation and progress in the field of veterinary pathology and forensics.

Through collaborative efforts between FVM UB and Professor Jasni, it is hoped that a dynamic educational environment that fosters critical thinking, creativity and interdisciplinary collaboration can be fostered.

The partnership between FVM UB and Professor Jasni is not only limited to the classroom or laboratory, but also includes research and innovation.
