The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Universitas Brawijaya (FKH UB) holds a routine event which is held every year entitled International Conference on Veterinary Science and Scientific Paper Competition “Student Innovation on One Health for Human, Animal, and Environmental Post-Pandemic Covid-19 Life Recovery”.
The purpose of this event is to improve the quality of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education activities, as well as one of the efforts to realize the Vision and Mission of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Universitas Brawijaya (FKH UB) in an effort to provide quality education to produce professional graduates.
The event, which has been going on for two years, is a series of events for the 13th Anniversary of FKH UB.
The theme of this event is based on the importance of the multi-sectoral concept of one health, that human health cannot be separated from animal health, and the environment at the same time.
This event is an international scientific writing competition which is a forum for the creativity of undergraduate students throughout Indonesia and ASEAN, especially students of Veterinary Medicine, Medicine, Dentistry, Animal Husbandry, MIPA (Mathematics and Natural Sciences), and FISIP (Faculty of Social and Political Sciences). to be able to express their ideas in a scientific writing.
This activity is expected to facilitate the potential of students to study, develop, or apply the science and technology that has been learned in lectures for the wider community.
Activities like this are expected to motivate students in developing their abilities and conveying their aspirations through a good, targeted and beneficial method for FKH UB in particular.
The form of activity is an online conference by presenting invited speakers from Japan, Colombia, and Indonesia.
Then continued with the presentation of scientific works from several groups of students.
The scope of knowledge in this competition is Health, Science, technology, Culture, Humanity, Social, and Politic with the hope that it can become a forum for wider fields so that the exchange of information that occurs is more comprehensive.
Registration and paper submission can be done from 12 July – 12 September 2021. Presentations for candidates who have passed the selection will be held on 23 September 2021 virtually through zoom meeting.
