The Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Brawijaya (FK UB) officially inaugurated 29 specialist doctors at Graha Medika Building Second Floor on Tuesday (17/1/2023).
In this activity, the Dean of FKUB, Dr. Dr. Wisnu Barlianto, M.Sc.Med, SpA(K), Vice Director of RSUD, Dr. Saiful Anwar Dr. Widodo Budi Prasetya, Head of the Specialist & Sub-Specialist Medicine Department Dr. Dr. Seskoati Prayitnaningsih, Sp.M (K), Head of UB FK Alumni Association, dr. Aries Budianto, SpB, Subsp BD (K), as well as other invited guests.
In his remarks, Wisnu congratulated and advised graduates to always pay attention and understand the applicable laws and regulations in carrying out their duties as specialist doctors, as well as increasing professionalism, specialist knowledge, competition, technology, and upholding medical ethics in every aspect of patient care.
“With your appointment as a specialist doctor, this is the time for you to face the real world of serving patients, a doctor must have full responsibility for every case handled. This moment is the first step to provide real service in the field to carry out the knowledge that has been obtained during education to become a specialist,” said Wisnu in his remarks.
Head of FK UB Alumni Association, dr. Aries Budianto, SpB, Subsp BD (K) also gave a message to graduates to always maintain the good name of the alma mater, maintain the friendship between alumni and doctors, and don’t forget to maintain communication with IKA Alumni and teachers.
