FISIP and Psychology Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Establish Cooperation

The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Universitas Brawijaya (FISIP UB) Malang agreed to cooperate with the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas 17 August 1945 (UNTAG) Surabaya. This collaboration was inaugurated on Tuesday (9/8/2022) in C building, FISIP UB.

Dean of the Faculty of Psychology UNTAG Surabaya, Dr. Rr. Amanda Pasca Rini, M.Si said that her party wanted to increase cooperation, especially in the field of Independent Learning Independent Campus (MBKM) with various campuses, one of which was with FISIP UB.

“From our side, we hope to be able to conduct student exchanges. Of course, technical talks can be carried out,” he said.

In addition to student exchanges, Amanda Pasca Rini also hopes that this collaboration can be carried out in other fields, one of which is research.

“Hopefully, what will be the next collaboration can be realized and useful,” he continued.

Meanwhile, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs FISIP UB, Dr.rer.pol. M. Faishal Aminuddin, S.S, M.Si hopes that the collaboration will not only be done on paper.

“Although the focus of the collaboration is only one, for example MBKM is not a problem, the important thing is to go first,” he said.

According to Faishal, with one ongoing collaboration, other fields can follow, such as research to student exchanges.

This Political Science Study Program lecturer assessed that if the collaboration was focused on student exchanges related to MBKM, it could be mutually beneficial for both parties.

“From the side of student exchange in Psychology, it can be done, especially for specific courses that are not here but are there, it can be collaborated,” he said.

In the discussion session, UB Psychology Study Program and Faculty of Psychology UNTAG Surabaya focused on collaboration on the subjects of each study program that could be followed by students on each campus. (Humas FISIP/Humas UB/ Trans. Iir)
