The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) held a series of activities to commemorate the 35th Anniversary in order to further increase the intimacy and solidarity between FMIPA academic communities.
The chief executive of the activity, Zulfaidah Penata Gama, S.Si., M.Si., Ph.D, explained that to enliven the FMIPA anniversary this time, a series of activities were held both scientific and non-scientific.
For scientific activities, there is an ICGRC international seminar and webinars from statistics lecturers.
Meanwhile, for non-scientific activities, there are a series of competitions such as volleyball, ping pong, badminton, singing, and football competitions that all FMIPA academics can participate in.
“The highlight was the Faculty Open Senate Meeting which was held on August 10. Other activities are Alumni Gathering and Expo Talkshow, as well as a healthy walk in August which invites UB leaders and alumni gathering activities,” he said.
Zulfaida hopes that through this activity, she can motivate and increase new enthusiasm after the past few years forged by the COVID-19 pandemic. (OKY/Humas UB/ Trans. Iir).
