FILKOM Invites Professor of Ritsumeikan University Japan to Discuss Software Engineering

The Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Brawijaya (FILKOM UB) has established an interesting international collaboration by inviting Prof. Victor Kryssanov from Ritsumeikan University, Japan, to give a guest lecture on Thursday (14/9/2023). In addition, this guest lecture activity also collaborated with the Global Software Engineering class at Ritsumeikan University and the Nuremberg Institute of Technology, Germany. In this class, students from three universities will collaborate on a joint Software Engineering (RPL) project on the topic of Smart Tourism.

Besides the collaboration of the three universities, this activity also involved the Communication and Informatics Service (Diskominfo) and Malang City Youth, Sports and Tourism Service (Disporapar). Visit of Prof. Kryssanov provided valuable experience for FILKOM students, especially for Computer Science Master’s Study Program students, where he delivered several materials regarding RPL.
