
The Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Brawijaya (FILKOM UB) on Thursday (16/01/2025) held a Leadership Direction Regarding the 2025 Personnel Structure. The activity which was held at the Heuristik theater, building A, 2nd floor of FILKOM UB was attended by the Dean of FILKOM UB, Prof. Ir. Wayan Firdaus Mahmudy, S.Si., M.T., Ph.D., Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Eng. Ir. Herman Tolle, S.T., M.T., and Vice Dean for Administration and Finance, Ir. Agus Wahyu Widodo, S.T., M.Cs. The activity was opened by Hariyatul Fitria, S.AB., as the Sub-Coordinator of the Finance and Personnel Sub-Division, followed by remarks and direction from the dean.
Regarding the changes in personnel composition at FILKOM, Prof. Wayan said that internal rotation in any institution is a common thing and needs to be done for organizational efficiency. This rotation also aimed at providing an opportunity for all staff to develop new skills and broaden their horizons in various positions. In addition, internal rotation can also improve collaboration between departments, thus creating better synergy in achieving common goals at FILKOM.

“This internal rotation is expected to not disrupt the stability of operations at FILKOM yet strengthens the existing solidarity. The achievements and reputation achieved by FILKOM academic community certainly would not have been realized without the hard work of all FILKOM internals,” explained Prof. Wayan.
On that occasion, Ir. Agus added that this internal staff rotation was indeed necessary for FILKOM as an effort to refresh and improve performance, and had been carefully considered in a meeting involving all related parties. According to him, this aims to create a more dynamic and innovative work environment, where every staff can contribute optimally in achieving FILKOM’s vision and mission. (rr/UB PR/ Trans. Iir)
