The Faculty of Computer Science (FILKOM) won one gold and two silvers in the 2021 Rector Cup.
Gold was obtained from PKM GT with the title Virtual Reality Meeting Glasses, then two silvers obtained from PKM KC with the title Tsunami Detection Using Machine Learning-Based Microcontrollers, and PKM PI with the title Virtual Reality Based Marketing System to Increase Sales of PT Permata Bunda Mandiri.
The PKM Rector Cup is intended for new students to filter out PKM that are really good and can compete in university. The internal screening process was carried out at the end of the academy startup period from November to December 2020.
The coaching process since the orientation of new student period that was carried out by the 2020 startup academy committee in collaboration with K-risma as a student institution engaged in student research.
After being competed internally, winners 1 to 3 in each category will be further directed to represent FILKOM in the 2021 Rector Cup event.
The number of participants from FILKOM was 24 groups from all categories. Each group is guided by one supervisor and two facilitators from K-risma. (DRN / Humas UB/ Trans. Iir)
