The Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Brawijaya (FILKOM UB) again facilitates Bintara Students of the Army Polytechnic (POLTEKAD), for the Artificial Intelligence and Cloud Computing Course Practice. Eko Sakti Pramukantoro, S.Kom., M.Kom., Ph.D., as the Head of the Informatics Engineering Undergraduate Study Program said that the activity will be held for three weeks (3/2–22/2/2025).
For this second batch, there are 20 participants studying at FILKOM UB.
“Like the previous year, the lecture system uses a full day, Monday to Friday. The provision of material is accompanied by a practical assistant, followed by independent study. Classes are also held on Saturdays with a shorter duration,” explained Eko.
One of the participants from POLTEKAD, Wirpan Atmaja Putra, said that the activity that has entered its second year is very useful. Moreover, the information sharing has been obtained from his seniors who have studied at FILKOM in the previous year.
“Providing AI material is very important to improve cyber security, AI can be used to prevent cyber attacks from irresponsible parties, especially the military sector which has a lot of important data that must be protected,” he said.
Wirpan also hopes that the knowledge gained will soon be applied in the Indonesian Army (TNI-AD) units, especially in the field of Cyber Security. (rr/UB PR/ Trans. Iir)
