The Faculty of Cultural Studies (FCS) Universitas Brawijaya (UB) has officially become one of the organizers of the DELF (Diplome d’Etude Langue Français) exam in Indonesia. DELF is a French-language proficiency certificate that covers four aspects of mastery, namely listening, reading, writing, and speaking.

DELF is an international diploma officially issued by FEI (France Education International) under the auspices of the French Ministry of National Education for SJ/Scolaire-Junior (SD-SMP-SMA) and TP/Tout Public (students or general) which are valid for a lifetime.

The DELF is a collaboration between FCS UB and IFI (Institut Francais Indonesia) Surabaya, which is under the auspices of the French Embassy to Indonesia in Jakarta, with the Coordinator of the National Certification Center IFI Thamrin under the auspices of FEI.

“Starting this year, FCS UB cooperates with IFI Surabaya to hold the DELF exam. For the East Java region, IFI Surabaya oversees the Universitas Darul Ulum Jombang, IFI Surabaya, and FCS UB,” said Eri Susanto, M. Hum., as the Chairperson of the DELF FCS UB exam.

“The DELF exam is held regularly every March, June, and December. The DELF exam is held simultaneously in Indonesia,” he continued.
