After completing a series of competitions in Musabaqah Tilawatil Quran XV, the Faculty of Cultural Studies was titled as the General Champion. The awarding of the winners was held on Sunday (20/6/2022) at the Auditorium of G Building, Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Brawijaya.
This MTQ activity, according to the General Chairperson of the Religious Arts Student Activity Unit, Ulul Azmi Romadhoni, is a preparation for UB at the next level. “Hopefully, with this MTQ vibes, we can print UB contingent for regional to national events,” he explained.
UB MTQ Coordinator, Ratno Bagus Edi Wibowo, M.Sc., Ph.D hopes that there will be an increase in the ability of the participants in the future. “For the assessment, the entire jury is very, very careful, since they choose the best from the good,” he explained.
Representing the Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Alumni and Student Entrepreneurship, Dr. Agung Pramana Warih Marhendra, M.Si hoped that the participants would take the time to prepare. “We hope that we can prepare ourselves well for bigger national activities and can get even better results at the national level,” he concluded.
The details of the winners in each faculty include the Faculty of Cultural Studies with 6 winners, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences with 6 winners, the Faculty of Economics and Business with 5 winners, the Faculty of Computer Science with 3 winners, Faculty of Social and Political Science with 3 winners, the Faculty of Animal Husbandy with 2 winners, Faculty of Law with 3 winners, Faculty of Health Sciences, Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Faculty of Engineering and PSDKU UB Kediri with 2 winners each also the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Faculty of Agriculture and Faculty of Medicine with 1 winner each.
