Tianjin International Foreign Studies University Summer Camp is one of the implementations of the University-to-University MOU between Universitas Brawijaya (UB) and Tianjin Foreign Studies University, China which was signed in June 2021. This event was carried out by the Study Programme of Chinese Literature (SPCL) Faculty of Cultural Studies (FCS) UB and Confucius Institute Tianjin Foreign Studies University on 5 – 30 July 2021 through the VooV Meeting platform.
Hamamah, Ph.D., the Vice Dean of Academic Affairs FCS UB also attended the opening ceremony to give a speech. In this event, there were also speeches from the leaders of the State Interchange Office and the leaders of the International Education Institute as well as representatives of lecturers from the International Education College who participated in giving the remarks.
This Summer Camp 2021 is attended by 27 participants from the SPCL FCS UB Class of 2019 and 2020 with a minimum requirement of HSK 2 to be able to participate in the Summer Camp scholarship selection for four weeks.
This Summer Camp discussed Arts, Culture, History, Philosophy, and the State of China, especially Tianjin city. In this event, there are also materials on HSK 3 and 4, Business Chinese Test, and Mandarin for Trade. [DTS]
