FIB Departs Three Students to Thailand for Teaching Assistance

Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program (Diksasindo), Faculty of Cultural Studies, Universitas Brawijaya (FCS UB), succeeded in sending three female students to Thailand accompanied by two lecturers in their departure, Monday (9/1/2023).

The departure assistance, which was held for three days, aims to accompany and leave female students for the next month at schools that are partners in Teaching Assistance activities, namely Salihiyah School and Songserm Wittaya School.

Salamah, Pratista Widya Satwika, and Wakhidatus Salma who are Diksasindo students of 2020 batch accompanied by Eti Setiawati as the head of the study program and Maulfi Syaiful Rizal.

“We dispatched students in the framework of foreign cooperation for teaching assistance to students of Indonesian Language and Literature Education. Besides that, this activity is also to translate the rules from the Ministry of Education and Culture for student activities outside the campus,” said Eti Setiawati.

In addition to deliver the two students, the MoU was also signed at Songserm Wittaya School, Hat Yai.

“Students here, besides studying, are also working on assignments that will be converted into future courses. They have to write logbooks, textbooks, articles, as well as conduct research while here,” concluded Ms. Eti Setiawati when asked about future student activities. (SLM/Humas UB/ Trans. IirBBN).
