Maguan Village, Ngajum District, Malang Regency became the center of attention by holding the Legal Talkshow Group 20 Community Service of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Brawijaya (PKM FH UB), Wednesday (10/07/2024). The Legal Talkshow entitled “Recognizing How Village Government Governance Works” was held at Maguan Village Office Hall. This activity aims to provide an understanding of village governance and good management of Village-Owned Enterprises (Bumdes). The targets of this activity are village officials, Village Deliberative Body, and MSME actors in Maguan Village.
The event was attended by around twenty people, including village officials, the Maguan Village Deliberative Body, and MSME actors in Maguan Village. The series of events began with an opening by the MC, singing the song Indonesia Raya, remarks by village officials, delivery of materials, and closing. The speakers in this activity were Mr. Muhammad Akbar Nursasmita, S.H., M.H., a lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Brawijaya, and Samuel Sihombing, a student at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Brawijaya.
With this activity, the Maguan Village Government is expected to better understand its role and function as the implementer of village government. This also aims to strengthen village management and development strategies, as well as good Bumdes governance.
In addition, on Tuesday (2/07/2024), Group 20 PKM FH UB also held a Talkshow with the theme “Building Strong Immunity & Bright Minds: Nutrition for Growth and Development”. This activity was aimed at PKK Women of Maguan Village to provide education on the importance of fulfilling nutrition for children for better growth and development. Proper nutritional fulfillment can prevent malnutrition, delayed development, obesity, and stunting
This talk show was attended by around 15 PKK women from Maguan Village. The series of events began with an opening by the MC, singing the Indonesia Raya song and the PKK March, reading 10 PKK programs together, presenting materials, and closing. The materials were delivered by Amira Wahyudi, Village Coordinator of Group 20 FH UB Community Service, and Dio Pratama, Head of Pertamina Scholarship Coordinator.
With this activity, PKK women are expected to have an understanding of good nutrition for their children. This education also includes prevention and handling of nutritional problems in children. (dzilla/wdd/UB PR/ Trans. Iir)
