Faculty of Law and the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia had Successfully Held the Three Days Learning RPL Program

Three Days Learning RPL Program in the Context of Collaboration between FH UB and the Indonesian Ministry of Finance

Matriculation of new students for the Past Learning Recognition Program (RPL), which is a collaboration between the Faculty of Law, Brawijaya University (FH UB) and the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenkeu RI) has been successfully carried out for three consecutive days, starting (12/2-15/2 /2024).

This program was attended by thirty (30) new students from the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia which is a collaboration between FH UB and the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia with the aim of providing opportunities for employees at the Ministry of Finance who already have work experience to access higher education through undergraduate programs at FH UB for 2.5 years.

In his speech, the Dean of FH UB, Dr. Aan Eko Widiarto, S.H., M.Hum., stated that this collaboration is a concrete manifestation of FH UB’s commitment to supporting government efforts to improve the quality of human resources, especially in the legal and financial fields.

“We hope that through this program, Ministry of Finance employees who join can gain knowledge and skills that are useful for advancing their careers,” said Aan.

Matriculation activities were held for three days from 12-15 February 2024. The first day, Monday, 12 February 2024, activities started at 09.00 WIB to 11.30 WIB with a focus on Campus Ethics Curriculum material. Participants gain a deep understanding of the code of ethics that applies in the campus environment, as well as the importance of maintaining integrity and ethics in the academic world.

On the second day, Tuesday, February 13 2024, activities were held from 08.00 WIB to 16.00 WIB with the main material is the Civil Law Legal Science Program. This material is an important foundation for new students in understanding the principles of civil law that underlie the legal system in Indonesia.

The last day of matriculation, Thursday, February 15 2024, starts from 08.00 WIB to 16.00 WIB. On this last day, the material presented was Civil Law, which provided a deeper understanding of important aspects of civil law and its application in the context of everyday life.

The Dean hopes that this matriculation activity is a good start for the Ministry of Finance’s employees who will start a new journey in pursuing a bachelor’s degree at FH UB.
