The Faculty of Law, Universitas Brawijaya (FH UB) held an Entrepreneurship Week in the Yard of A Building FH for five days (2/12-6/12/2024) to provide students with direct experience in entrepreneurship. This event is a means of practical work for students to apply the entrepreneurial knowledge they learn in class in a real form. This Entrepreneurship Week not only displays goods and services, but also serves as an assessment of creative ideas, marketing techniques, and neatness and cleanliness.
“This entrepreneurship of Faculty of Law students is a form of practice from entrepreneurship lectures, as well as strengthening students’ competence in the field of entrepreneurship. Students not only learn theory in class, but are also trained to start a business, create products or services, conduct marketing, and make a profit,” said the Vice Dean of Student Affairs of the UB Faculty of Law, Dr. Muktiono, S.H., M.Phil.
This Entrepreneurship Week was held with the full support of UB Faculty of Law, which provided a place and tents to ensure the comfort of participants, especially considering the possibility of rain. In addition, this event also received support from the student affairs department who worked together with lecturers to provide guidance to students from the planning stage to the implementation of the business.
During this event, students were given the opportunity to present and sell their products and services in the Faculty of Law environment. The products sold were not only goods, but also services. Other students, lecturers, and the community around the campus were invited to enliven the event by purchasing the products sold.
Dr. Muktiono added that this event also provided evaluation and reporting to ensure students get a complete picture of planning, implementation, and profit and loss analysis in the business world.
