FEB Holds AIM Cycle 23 Visitation to Maintain Faculty Quality Standards

The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Brawijaya (FEB UB) held an Internal Quality Audit (AIM) Visitation Cycle 23 of 2024 in the 3rd Floor Hall of FEB UB Main Building to ensure the implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) in the faculty. This visitation is a series of Internal Quality Audit Week carried out by all Faculties in Universitas Brawijaya.

On this occasion, the Chancellor of Universitas Brawijaya (UB) assigned Eko Setiawan, S.T., M.T., M.Eng. Ph.D. as the Chief Auditor and Dr. Euis Elih Nurlaelih, S.P., M.Si. as a member of the Auditor for FEB UB. The visitation was attended by the leadership of FEB UB, the Quality Assurance Task Force Team (GJM), Head of Sub-Division, Secretary of BPPM and PSIK, as well as Expert Staff of the Dean and Vice Dean. The focus of the visitation was to confirm the suitability of the contents of the AIM scope instrument which includes Follow-up of Old Findings, Management Review, Quality Evaluation, Website Completeness and Risk Assessment.

The AIM visitation activity took place effectively and the results of the discussion produced positive inputs both for the development of FEB UB specifically and LPM and UB in general. Among the positive inputs were the need to analyze irrelevant personnel data, especially lecturer data connected to the SISTER application, the need for regular mapping of homebase lecturers and discipline in updating academic data through PDDIKTI. In addition, from the risk assessment indicators, FEB received positive input starting from preparing mitigation or actions from possible risks, such as preventing fraud in the financial section to mitigating the risk of unattainable performance.

On the other hand, FEB UB also provided input to UB through the Auditor team that the SIQA System needs to be reviewed because there are still some data that are not appropriate because there is a possibility of algorithm errors.

This year, AIM has entered the 23rd Cycle, where this activity is routinely held for the Academic Implementation Unit and Academic Implementation Support Unit as an effort to maintain the quality of academic quality in UB environment. With this AIM visitation, FEB UB hopes to be able to maintain and improve the quality of academic services in order to create a good and guaranteed Quality Culture [sha/UB PR/ Trans. Iir].
