Magetan – The Regional Government of Magetan, through the Department of Animal Husbandry and Fisheries (Disnakan), in collaboration with the Faculty of Animal Science, Universitas Brawijaya Malang, successfully organized the Lawu Fun Run on Saturday (July 20, 2024).
Thousands of participants enlivened the Lawu Fun Run event, including KKN students from the Faculty of Animal Science (FAPET UB) and participants from outside Java.
“With over a thousand participants, this event is expected to boost the tourism sector in Magetan Regency,” said Acting Regent of Magetan, Hergunadi.
The running route started from Kampung Susu Singolangu, Sarangan District, Magetan Regency, circled Telaga Sarangan, and ended back at the starting point.
Dr. Agus Sulisilo, Vice Dean II of FAPET UB, stated that this event is one of their KKN agendas in collaboration with the Department of Animal Husbandry and Fisheries of Magetan to promote Magetan Regency.
“We hope this event can be held annually with FAPET UB and the Regional Government of Magetan Regency through Disnakan. We also hope that FAPET UB students continue to be enthusiastic about developing the villages,” he added.
