
Malang, FH UB – The Faculty of Law, Universitas Brawijaya (FH UB) received a visit from the University of Muhammadiyah North Sumatra (UMSU) on Tuesday, July 30, 2024. This activity aims to learn more about the International Undergraduate Program (IUP) managed by FH UB.
The group from UMSU led by Prof. Dr. H. Muhammad Arifin, S.H., M.Hum., as Vice Rector I, arrived at FH UB campus at 09.00 WIB. The visit was welcomed by Mrs. Milda Istiqomah, S.H., MTCP., Ph.D., as Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of FH UB along with other leaders.
In her remarks, Mrs. Milda Istiqomah expressed her gratitude and appreciation for the visit from UMSU. She also explained that FH UB is always open to sharing experiences and knowledge, especially in the development of international academic programs.
“We are honored to receive a visit from the University of Muhammadiyah North Sumatra. We hope that this visit can be the beginning of closer cooperation between the two universities, especially in the fields of law and international programs,” said Mrs. Milda.
Prof. Dr. H. Muhammad Arifin in his speech also expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome given by FH UB. He said that this visit was a strategic step to improve the quality of education at UMSU through learning from the excellent programs at FH UB.
“We hope to learn a lot from FH UB, especially regarding the implementation and development of the International Undergraduate Program which has been running well here. We are sure that the experience and knowledge we have gained can be applied to improve the quality of academic programs at UMSU,” said Prof. Arifin.
After the welcoming session, the event continued with a detailed explanation of the International Undergraduate Program (IUP) by Dr. Amelia Sri Kusuma Dewi, S.H., M.KN., as the Head of FH UB IUP Program.
Dr. Amelia explained various important aspects of IUP, starting from the curriculum, teaching methods, to international cooperation that has been established with various universities abroad.
“We believe that this program can be a model for other universities that want to develop similar programs. We are happy to be able to share information and experiences with colleagues from UMSU,” said Dr. Amelia. (Rma/FH PR/ UB PR/ Trans. Iir)
