On Tuesday (9/7) the Directorate of Student Affairs of Universitas Brawijaya (UB) held the 2024 Brawijaya Expo activity. The activity was held at the Samantha Kridha Building UB. The activity was opened by the Director of the Directorate of Student Affairs UB, Dr. Sujarwo.
In his speech, Sujarwo said that this activity was a form of UB’s concern to support various activities from the National Achievement Center (Puspresnas). This activity is also a form of UB’s support to produce reliable young entrepreneurs for the development of the nation towards a Golden Indonesia.
“We really hope that students are serious about utilizing the various facilities and programs that have been created by UB. UB will always support the thoughts, works and innovations of students. The hope is that UB can become one of the centers of innovation in Indonesia,” said Sujarwo while opening the activity.
A total of 92 teams participated in today’s Expo activity. With details of 66 PKM teams, 17 P2MW teams, and 9 PPK Ormawa teams. This activity is to facilitate students as an effort to prepare for participating in the national competition organized by Puspresnas.
Various inputs and suggestions will be obtained by all teams participating in this Expo from visitors, mentors and reviewers. The hope is that they will be more prepared in welcoming the national competition that will be participated by all teams.
UB Chancellor, Prof. Widodo was also present at the Expo. The Chancellor gave encouragement and motivation to all Expo participants to continue to develop their potential and ideas for the good that can be enjoyed by the wider community.
