Universitas Brawijaya (UB) held a Halal Bi Halal event with the theme “Establishing Brotherhood, Strengthening Integrity, Building a More Excellent UB”, with all lecturers and educational staff, at the Samantha Krida Building, on Tuesday (4/8/2025). This activity was broadcasted online via UB’s YouTube streaming.
The series of events began with the opening and reading of the Holy Quran and Saritiwalah presented by the Gumelaring Sasangka Aji Art Studio. Then continued with remarks from the Rector, Prof. Widodo, S.Si., M.Si., Ph.D.Med.Sc.
This activity was filled with the screening of Halal Bi Halal greeting videos from all work units at UB. And enlivened by performances from Religious Arts Student.
The invitees were divided into several sessions according to their work units. The first session at 08.00-08.45 for the Head Office, FH, FEB, FIA, FP, FAPET, and FT; the second session at 08.45-09.30 for FK, FPIK, FMIPA, FTP, FISIP, and FIB; the third session at 09.30-10.15 for FKH, FILKOM, FKG, VOKASI, Postgraduate School, FIKES, PSDKU, BPU, and BMU.
The Rector, Prof. Widodo, S.Si., M.Si., Ph.D.Med.Sc said that the momentum of Halal Bi Halal provided enthusiasm and strength to face future challenges.
“I personally represent all work units of Universitas Brawijaya to wish you a Happy Eid al-Fitr, may our good deeds and worship be accepted by Allah,” said Prof. Widodo, S.Si., M.Si., Ph.D.Med.Sc.
