Four teams from the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), Faculty of Agriculture (FP), and Faculty of Engineering (FT) qualified for the semifinals of the National Student Competition in Business, Management and Finance (KBMK). Based on the letter from Indonesian Talent Development Center (BPTI) dated 17 July 2023 concerning the Announcement of Teams passing the 2023 KBMK Semifinals, there are 52 teams that will compete in the semifinals, and will continue to the finals for teams that qualify for the next round from 8 to 10 August 2023 for all category.
Dr. Aulia Fuad Rahman, co-leader of KBMK UB 2023 team hopes that UB can become the general champion in this annual event and improve on the medal results obtained the previous year.
“No less important is giving students the opportunity to gain more experience in participating in competitions in order to develop critical thinking, expand their networks and competitive spirit. UB is One, UB is the Champion,” he said.
Universitas Brawijaya (UB) always strives to improve student achievement through various kinds of competitions both at national and international levels. One of the prestigious national level competitions held by DIKTI National Achievement Center (Puspresnas DIKTI), one of which is the National Student Competition in the fields of Business, Management and Finance (KBMK), this year’s activities were held in Jakarta hosted by IPMI International Business School. There are five categories contested in the 2023 KBMK, namely business planning, investment research, investigative audit finance, commercialization of research and appropriate technology, and writing of scientific papers.
KBMK 2023 takes the theme “Manifestation of ESG Concept in Supporting Indonesia’s Chairmanship in ASEAN in 2023 for the Development of a Blue Economy and Strengthening Maritime Development in Indo Pacific Region within the Framework of the Fields of Business, Management and Finance”.
