Supporting Students’ Studies and Research, MIHJ Holds Workshop on the Use of PDIH FH UB

 

Workshop on the use of the Legal Documentation and Information Center (PDIH) of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Brawijaya (FH UB)

The International Law Compartment of FH UB in collaboration with the Master of Law Program PSDKU Jakarta held a Guest Lecture and Workshop on the use of the Legal Documentation and Information Center (PDIH), Sunday, (9/6/2024). This event presented Dr. Patricia Audrey Ruslijanto, S.H., M.Kn, Head of PDIH, as the main speaker, along with the PDIH team.

The event began at 09.00 WIB with remarks from the Head of the Master of Law Study Program PSDKU in Jakarta, Dr. Indah Dwi Qurbani, S.H., M.H., who expressed the importance of access to legal documentation and information in supporting the studies and research of Master of Law students.

The workshop, which was held online, was attended by Master of Law students at PSDKU Jakarta. The event started at 09.00 WIB with a speech from the Head of the International Law Compartment of the Faculty of Law who emphasized the importance of access to legal documentation and information in supporting legal studies and research.

Dr. Patricia Audrey Ruslijanto in her session explained the various functions and services offered by PDIH. She explained how PDIH can be a very useful resource for law students and researchers in accessing various legal documents, journals, and other legal literature. Dr. Patricia emphasized the importance of understanding how to use PDIH to maximize the benefits that can be obtained.

“We at PDIH are committed to providing easy and comprehensive access to various legal sources. Students and researchers can use this facility to improve the quality of their research,” said Dr. Patricia Audrey Ruslijanto in her presentation session.

After the presentation of the material, the PDIH team continued with a practical demonstration on how to access and use various features available in PDIH such as SiPerpus, lip.ub, UB e-resources, online law, and kubuku. Participants were given the opportunity to try using the PDIH platform directly and ask questions related to the obstacles they faced.

Through the workshop, it is hoped that PSDKU Jakarta Master of Law students can better utilize PDIH as a primary resource in supporting their studies and producing quality research. (Rma/FH PR/OKY/UB PR/ Trans. Iir)
