A lecturer of Cattle Product Technology Faculty of Animal Husbandry University of Brawijaya, Dr. Ir. Purwadi, MS along with his team give training on manufacture of yoghurt into University of Brawijaya’s Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP UB) Ladies at first floor of Building II Faculty of Animal Husbandry University of Brawijaya, Tuesday (23/Feb/2016).
The training is in order to prepare yoghurt creation competition that would be organized on Kartini Day celebration, next April. Training that is included as working program of DWP UB’s education division followed by DWP representative of each faculty.
According to Purwadi, characteristics of good yoghurt when harvested is agglomerate uniformly, sour taste, no separation between solids and liquids, no greenish-yellow clear liquid, no air-bubbles production, no carbonated and alcoholic odorless.
Dr. Ir. Purwadi, MS who is a lecturer of Faculty of Animal Husbandry University of Brawijaya at Cattle Product Technology Division who has long been engaged in one of cattle products, dairy milk. A lecturer who is also doubled as Head of Intellectual Property Rights Centre University of Brawijaya juggling cow’s milk to be yoghurt processed product and mozzarella cheese. Recently he has his own home-based business so-called “Rumah Yoghurt”.
On the occasion, Head of DWP Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Endang Suyadi, also delivered about the importance of yoghurt benefits and its product business opportunity. [dita/Humas UB/trans. Denok]
