Lecturer and Head of the Agricultural Science Doctoral Study Program was elected by consensus as Chairperson of the Indonesian Agricultural Science Doctoral Study Program Association (APDIPI).
The establishment of this association was held on Thursday (2/5) in the Meeting Room of the Postgraduate Building, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Brawijaya. In the meeting attended by 16 Heads of Agricultural Science Doctoral Study Programs from various universities in Indonesia, the APDIPI management was elected consisting of Prof. Dr. Ir. Kuswanto from UB as Chair of the Advisory Board, Dr. Darmawan Saptadi., S.P., M.P (UB) as Chairperson, Prof. Dr. Ir. Rina Sriwati. M.Si. (Syiah Kuala University) as Vice Chairperson, Yusup Hidayat, S.P., M.Phil., Ph.D from Padjadjaran University as Secretary and Prof. Dr. Ir. Gusti Ayu K. Sutariarti, M.Si from Halu Uleo University as Treasurer.
The APDIPI administrators will then form the Articles of Association/Bylaws (AD/ART) for this organization. The main objective of APDIPI is to improve the quality of agricultural science doctoral programs in Indonesia through collaboration and exchange of experiences between doctoral study programs at various universities.
It is hoped that with the formation of APDIPI, there will be better synergy between agricultural science doctoral study programs throughout Indonesia, so that it can have a positive impact on the development of agricultural science in the country. (zma/VQ/ UB PR/ Trans. Iir)
