Lecturer of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Universitas Brawijaya (FKH UB), Dr. drh. Albiruni Haryo, M.Sc., AP.Vet was specially invited to provide technical assistance for the Presisi Polri Animal Hospital (RSH) team.
In the activity, drh. Albiruni delivered the main material regarding Orthopedic Surgery techniques and Management of Animal Medical Laboratory Services.
Bone and joint surgery procedures (orthopedics), discussing the technical aspects of a good and correct standard orthopedic action, according to the needs of RSH Polri, and existing staff.
“In the activity, I also explained about the topic of laboratory service management, how laboratory services in a health service can be run optimally,” he said.
The activity was attended by 20 RSH Polri staff, and also the Head of the Harvet Sub-Directorate, Kombes Pol Ir. Soedaryono, M.M., and the Head of the Cakkal Sub-Directorate of Ditpolsatwa, Kombes Pol Gatot Aris Purbaya, S.I.K
As a form of appreciation for his contribution and expertise, RSH Polri Presisi gave full trust to drh. Albiruni to be able to act as a Technical Consultant at the Presisi Polri Animal Hospital.
“This appointment reflects the recognition of the professionalism and knowledge of the FKH UB Lecturers at the National level, with this it is hoped that Universitas Brawijaya will continue to support this form of collaboration for the advancement of the field of Veterinary Medicine in Indonesia,” said drh.
