The material was delivered by Prof. Nurul Isnaini and Aulia Puspita, M.Sc. related to the importance of AI implementation procedures and the factors that influence its success and failure. According to Nurul, the factors that influence the success of AI include, (1) nutritional management: by providing balanced and proper nutrition it is very important to prepare cows so that their reproductive conditions are optimal, (2) selection of brood cow: choosing high quality and suitable cows with the aim of breeding to increase the success of AI, (3) proper and sterile insemination techniques to ensure quality sperm cells meet egg cells.

Meanwhile, the failure of AI is influenced by the health of the cows: when the cows are in poor health they have a lower chance of success for AI, estrus timing discrepancies: AI must be carried out when the cows are in estrus so that the chances of success are higher. height, and selection of the right semen according to the characteristics of the cow.

This material is a solutive presentation based on the experiences that have been faced by dairy farmers in Pujon and Ponorogo. The participants were very enthusiastic and hoped for further training, therefore the DM team plans to conduct training for inseminators on checking the quality of post-thawing spermatozoa and ultrasound.
