The Information and Public Relations Division (DIK) carried out a series of Monitoring and Evaluation activities for the Information Services Unit (ULIN) Award and awarded the 2024 Public Information Disclosure (KIP) Ambassador at the Algorithm Building, Faculty of Computer Science (FILKOM), Tuesday (6/2/2024).
“This activity is a manifestation of UB’s seriousness in implementing public information disclosure. KIP Ambassador is an effort to attract the interest and awareness of the younger generation so that they get aware of information. The hope is that it can make UB better, more transparent and open to the information needs of the entire community,” said the Head of Public Data and Information Services Subdivision, Dr. Dra. Lely Indah Mindarti, M.Sc.
Lely added that public information disclosure is one part of the performance that UB must carry out well so that it is not considered a burden.
Vice Rector, for Finance and Resources Prof. Dr. Muchamad Ali Safaat, SH., MH., said that as a public body, UB must provide maximum information services.
“This is an effort of UB’s transparency and accountability to the community. Openness can also be used as an effort to maintain trust and avoid various slander in society,” said Prof. Ali Safaat.
He added, this Ulin award is a tool to motivate all work units in UB to provide good information services. To maintain UB’s identity as a public institution, various activities related to public information disclosure need to continue to be implemented and improved.
The activity was attended by the Vice Rector for Finance and Resources, Prof. Dr. Muchamad Ali Safaat, SH., MH (VR II) and Deans of all Faculties at UB. VR II opened the activity accompanied by the Head of DIK, Zulfaidah Penata Gama, S.Si., M.Si., Ph.D. (PON/OKY/UB PR/ Trans. Iir).
