DIK Held Media Visit to Trans Media and LKBN ANTARA

The Information and Public Relations Division of Universitas Brawijaya (DIK UB) held a media visit to Trans Media and the Antara National News Agency (LKBN) to establish good relations and explore cooperation between the two parties. The activity was carried out for two days (18/9-19/9/2023).

During his visit to Trans Media, Head of DIK Subdivision, Kotok Gurito explained the purpose of his visit to dig up information related to CNN, detik, as well as related to collaboration with other universities in Indonesia.

Meanwhile, Head of Communication Department of detik.com, Aldy Geraldie explained that the majority of universities that have collaborated with detik.com are universities around Jakarta, such as University of Indonesia and Paramadina University.

“Several collaborations apart from publications are also carried out in the field of upscaling levels, including providing training on journalistic material, Public Relations, Strategy Branding,” he said.

Aldy added, training is usually also filled with material about tips for applying for jobs, such as CV review training to interview training.

After visiting Trans Media, the public relations team also visited LKBN ANTARA.

On this occasion, a collaboration between UB and LKBN ANTARA was also signed. From UB, he was represented by the Head of the Information and Public Relations Division, Zulfaidah Penata Gama, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D. and Managing Director of Antara Drs. H. Akhmad Munir.

Zulfaidah said that the collaboration between UB and LKBN ANTARA would be carried out to promote the university, especially in increasing the number of foreign students at UB.

“Collaboration will also be carried out to increase UB’s branding in the international community so that the goal of becoming a World Class University can finally be achieved,” she said. (OKY/UB PR/ Trans. Iir).
