The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Brawijaya (FISIP UB) held its 20th Anniversary celebration on April 8, 2023. At the age of 20, Prof. Abdul Hakim as Acting Dean of FISIP UB gave a series of congratulations and hopes for the progress of FISIP in 2023.
“Alhamdulillah, during the 20 years of its journey, FISIP can show its identity to compete with other faculties in UB. FISIP has also shown significant progress, both in the academic field and in the field of student achievement. Of course this should be maintained by FISIP lecturers and education staff to be more advanced in the future, “explained Prof. Abdul Hakim, Monday (10/4/2023).
Prof. Abdul Hakim also hopes that at the 20th age of FISIP UB this year, the lecturers will be able to get an increase in the level of their respective functional positions. It is hoped that this will become FISIP’s main priority in the future.
“For educational staff, we need to make sure that staff who are still in contract status, so that there is an explanation of their status in the future, so that they are more comfortable pursuing their careers at FISIP Universitas Brawijaya,” added Prof. Abdul Hakim.
In addition, Prof. Abdul Hakim also hopes that all FISIP students will be more active and enterprising in making achievements, both at the national and international levels. So FISIP can achieve the maximum achievement indicator for the number of outstanding students this year.
The hope for an increasingly advanced FISIP accompanied by a more conducive atmosphere was also explained by Prof. Abdul Hakim. He hopes that the internal relations between teaching staff and between FISIP UB educational staff can run better, by continuing to maximize the synergy between the ranks of the Dean and the leaders of other work units in FISIP.
