A total of five lecturers and industrial engineering students carried out UB industrial engineering mentoring activities with the theme “Implementation of the Independent Curriculum for Generation Z in Strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile Based on Entrepreneurship”, providing lessons and mentoring that together form an interesting way of learning entrepreneurship for elementary school children (SD).
SD Alam Ar Rohmah, Sumbersekar Hamlet, Dau District, Malang Regency was chosen as a partner to work together to form entrepreneurship education. SD Alam Ar-Rohmah was chosen as the subject of community service because the main problem of the partner is the need for mentoring and the need for concepts/ideas/technical forms of learning/implementation of activities that have a positive impact on teachers and students in implementing the Pancasila Student Profile (P5) Entrepreneurship Theme.
This service began on May 18, 2024 and is estimated to be carried out for 4 months until September 2024. It began with a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) activity to map problems before entering the process of compiling supporting curriculum modules. This curriculum will project entrepreneurship extracurricular activities in one semester.
After the supporting extracurricular activities are formed, the next step is to implement activities and workshops through classical methods and product production practices that have economic value as a stimulus for early age entrepreneurship, in this case generation Z.
Ir. Endra Yuafanedi Arifianto, ST., MT. hopes that through this activity it can provide stimulus for students to be able to have an entrepreneurial spirit and can also be useful for industrial engineering students to go down to the community and gain experience in analyzing problems and providing alternative solutions for the community.
