The team of student delegations from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Brawijaya again contributed to their achievements. This time, the delegation consisting of 9 teams won 8 prizes in the Gathering Forum for Islamic Economic Studies. This event was held on Monday-Wednesday (22-25/8) at UIN Alauddin Makassar.
In this competition, UB’s student team managed to beat hundreds of participants from other universities. After going through the judging process, these 8 teams made it through to the grand final stage, and had to complete a new case study within 45 minutes. They also have to present before the jury in the field of Sharia Business Plan, Academic Scientific Writing, Conceptual Scientific Writing and Islamic Economic Olympiad.
After preparing for 4 months, these students managed to bring home the 2nd place title in the Sharia Business Plan competition won by Mukhammad Rizal (Islamic Economics/2021), Shahrul Hazni (Management/2022), and Siti Ramdhaniati Azzahra (Accounting/2021). Meanwhile, Zata Amani won 3rd place in Sharia Business Plan (Entrepreneurship/2021, Ameyrista Perdana (Islamic Economics/2021), and Figi Kurnia Ariana/2021).
1st place in the field of Academic Scientific Writing was won by Dimas Fajar Safa Fadila (Islamic Economics/2021), Choirul Huda (Islamic Economics/2021), and Nurrahma Prawatya/2020). Meanwhile, 3rd place was won by Nanik Shofiatin (Islamic Economics/2020), Muhammad Roihan Barier (Management/2022), and Tika Yusfi Afkarina (Islamic Economics/2021).
2nd place in the field of Conceptual Scientific Writing was won by Dhaifullah Rahim Hudaya (Islamic Economics/2021), Hamdan Fuadi (Islamic Economics/2021), and Fira Alfi Syahrin (Islamic Economics/2020). Meanwhile, the first runner-up was Rizky Ulul Azmi (Islamic Economics/2021), Dinda Putri Permata Sari (Islamic Economics), and Muhammad Ziadatul Khaq (Islamic Economics/2020).
The 1st winner in the Islamic Economics Olympiad was won by Muhammad Rayhan Aidy A. (Islamic Economics/2021), Mutia Atika (Islamic Economics), and Wafia Multazima (Islamic Economics/2021). While the 2nd place winner was Muhammad Fazil Zilni (Islamic Economics/2022), Delviana Khoiru Nisa (Islamic Economics/2021), and Regitha Chaerunnissa R. (Financial and Banking Economics/2022).
