KIM’s Delegates Make Achievements in the Earth’s Equator

Not for the first time, Student’s Scientific Work Faculty of Animal Husbandry University of Brawijaya (KIM Fapet UB) brings achievements from national level competitions. The current achievement was inscribed from Student Scientific Writing Competition (Lomba Karya Tulis Ilmiah/LKTI) , Chemistry subject competition (Lomba Bidang Studi Kimia/LBSK). LBSK is a program organized by Chemistry Student Association (Himpunan Mahasiswa Kimia/Himki) Faculty of Sciences Tanjungpura University, Pontianak, west Kalimantan.

The LKTI lifted a theme “Innovation of Green Chemistry Based natural Resources Utilization in Science and Technology as an Effort to Build an Independent Indonesia. The event organized on 17-20/Feb/2016 at Faculty of Sciences’ New Building Tanjungpura University.

KIM Fapet UB sent three delegates with composition of Angga Setiawan as Head with members Joni Hendro and Moh Radhitiya Syafii. They were successful to be the only one delegate from University of Brawijaya and qualified as finalist after the big 15 announcement on 31/Jan/2016.

LKTI titled “FRW” (Feed Recycle Waste): Utilization of Banana Stem Waste Through Fermentation using Rumen Microbe Starter as Alternative Feed for Goats in the Dry Season and to Minimize Environmental Pollution” successful to bring them  grabbing the first champion.

The competition is being organized in form of scientific presentation that followed by each delegate from UGM, Unsoed, Unram, Unpad, Undip, UNY, UNS, Unnes, Unri, Unila, Untan, Unhas, IPB and UB.
