The second day after the leave together for Eid El Fitr 1438 H celebration, Faculty of Animal Husbandry of Brawijaya University held a Halal bi Halal, Tuesday (04/Jul/2017). Took place at 8th floor auditorium, the event invited K.H. Abdul Wahid as the preacher, pensioners, lecturers, staffs, and student delegates of each Student Activities Unit.
The event opened by then Dean Prof. Suyadi. In his remarks, he mentioned that halal bi halal is a silaturrahmi media to gather far-flung relatives, strengthen kinship and forgiving each other. There is no Halal bi Halal is Islamic sharia but cultures and tradition that are rooted in Indonesian communities.
On the occasion, tausiah presented by Gus Wahid was about Ukhuwah power to increase ummah welfare. Lectures delivered in a straightforward manner and full of jokes also alluded issues on maintaining team cohesiveness in establishing partnership to advance the faculty better.
Halal bi Halal by the big family of Faculty of Animal Husbandry academic communities followed by release of prospective pilgrims. In 2017 lecturers at Faculty of Animal Husbandry will have hajj pilgrim such as Dr. M. Halim Natsir, Dr. Mashudi, Dr. Osfar Sjofjan and Dr. Irfan H. Djunaidi. [dta/Humas UB/trans. Denok]
