Chiaffee, a Healthy Drink Made from Chia Seed and Coffee Bean

Four students of the Faculty of Law Universitas Brawijaya (FH UB), Yeni Merlina Puspita Sari, Titis Fitriani, Vanya Fajriana, and Putu Adnanta Jaya under the guidance of Amelia Ayu Paramitha, S.H., M.H. create a product for health that contains high antioxidants which is useful in preventing free radicals that cause chronic disease. The product is made from chia seeds and coffee called Chiaffee Drink.

“The antioxidant content in coffee beans and chia seeds is an important component in preventing free radicals,” said one member of the team, Yeni.

The composition of this Chiaffee product is coffee beans and chia seeds with a ratio of 9:1. Which the products made from only coffee beans and chia seeds.

“Then, it is clear that this product is 100% natural,” he said.

In producing this product, the team collaborated with Sridonoretno Coffee Farmers in Dampit District, Malang Regency.

This product is packaged in an attractive pouch with a size of 250 grams for Rp. 67,000
