Preventing COVID-19, UB Faculties Distribute Supplementary Gifts

A number of faculties in Universitas Brawijaya (UB) routinely provide supplements for staff, lecturers, and leaders to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
For example, the Faculty of Agricultural Technology (FTP) routinely provides supplements in the form of propolis honey to 37 employees who often meet students face to face.
Vice Dean II of FTP Dr. Dodyk Pranowo, STP. MSi said that the efforts to give supplement had been carried out since last September.
Unlike FTP, the Faculty of Economics and Business also provides gifts in the form of multivitamins, probiotics, as well as masks to 270 lecturers and staff.
“We only distributed it once, but the form is a package / set so it is not disposable, it can be used for a long time. If the situation is still same, of course this good program will be continued, “said Deputy Dean II Ainur Rofiq, SE., MM., Ph.D.
Meanwhile, Faculty of Culture Studies distributed packages in the form of honey, 1 liter of milk, multivitamins, and rice box.
The Head of Administration FCS, Dra. Mamik Eko Supatmi, S.IP, M.AB explained that the supplement package was distributed to all lecturers, staff, janitors, and night staff.
“The distribution mechanism was asked firstly to be taken or delivered to the house, the majority asked to be delivered to their house,” said Mamik.
Other precautions taken are following the rector’s rules, including distribution of work schedules, provision of hand washing facilities and hand sanitizers on all floors, making signs of health protocols, and administrative implementation SOP during the pandemic.
“In addition, every time you enter the building, you must check your body temperature with thermo-gun, you must use a mask, and fill in the guest book which contains your personal data and what is your purpose. Lecture activities, meetings, seminars, and others are carried out online, “added Mamik. [DTS, OD / Humas UB/ Trans. Iir].
