But you are the ones who are selected, the lucky ones, and who can be here today to finally be able to enter ILPOL Universitas Brawijaya (UB). The statement was stated by the Head of HIMAPOLITIK FISIP-UB (Political Science Student Association, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Universitas Brawijaya) , Aldo Evano, Saturday (3/10/2020) when giving his speech at the development program (probin) activity of ILPOL which is called STOVIA (Orientation Study for the Academic Community of Political Science).

Aldo hopes that 2020 political colleagues, which is the name for new students, to be able to think, move, and participate in activities on campus in the future with their own heart and motivation. In addition, Ibrahim as the chief executive also hopes that all parts of the new face of ILPOL can really have a positive impact on the sustainability of the ILPOL big family.
“This agenda may not be the best agenda but this agenda hopes for the best from you, political colleagues,” said Ibrahim.
STOVIA 2020 raises the theme of Javanese culture which is seen in the logo depicted with Hanuman puppet and mascot inspired by two Javanese puppet characters, Srikandi and Semar.
Srikandi shows a bold and brave character. Meanwhile, Semar is wise, honest and intelligent. From this philosophy, it is hoped that 2020 political colleagues can manifest the praiseworthy character of Srikandi and Semar as the nation’s next generation.
In this series, 2020 political colleagues will be further introduced to STOVIA by Ariena Azizah as the Event coordinator and introduction of HIMAPOLITICS. Political colleagues also received two materials that were very useful in studying in ILPOL department.
The first material was about the introduction of Political Science study program by Juwita Hayyuning S.IP., M.IP as the Head of the Communication Science study program.
