The Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Brawijaya (FILKOM UB) held a briefing on activities related to Independent Learning, Independent Campus (MBKM) which was attended by the Kalimantan Institute of Technology (ITK) and STMIK Pradnya Paramita (STIMATA).
The briefing which was held online through Zoom contained material about the process of implementing the Independent Campus activities which will be held at FILKOM UB.
The MBKM policy that related to the curriculum is the student’s right to study 3 semesters outside the study program with details of 1 semester within the scope of higher education and 2 semesters outside of college. This policy refers to Permendikbud No.3 of 2020 concerning National Higher Education Standards article 18 of the Minister of Education and Culture states that tertiary institutions are obliged to facilitate the implementation of fulfilling the time and burden in the learning process.
Therefore, FILKOM UB welcomes students outside Universitas Brawijaya who will take courses at FILKOM. This briefing activity was also attended by some students and representatives from ITK and STIMATA.
Issa Arwani, S.Kom., M.Sc. as the Head of Information Systems Department delivered through a briefing that tudents outside of FILKOM or outside UB can get to know more about the technicalities of the implementation of the academic process and lectures, and can get to know the lecturers who teach or guide.
Dahnial Syauqy, S.T., M.T., M.Sc. as the head of PSIK FILKOM conveyed related technical matters in the implementation of learning at FILKOM.
Students are encouraged to join the platform provided, which is eling.ub.ac.id.
All learning starting from courses, lecture materials and directions from the lecturer are delivered there. Furthermore, Dahnial also taught the enrolment process in eling and explained the menu or features in it. Dahnial also appealed to students who have difficulty logging in to contact the PSIK FILKOM section or to the relevant department staff. Besides the material presented above, FILKOM also introduced some of the lecturers who were present at the event. Hopefully the presence of this MBKM policy can introduce universities and institutions that are interrelated and strengthen cooperation among them. (Drn / Humas UB/ Trans. Iir)
