Universitas Brawijaya is holding the Brawijaya Book Fair 2025, a collaborative book festival between Universitas Brawijaya Library and Buka Buku Festival. Carrying the tagline “The Most Famous Book Festival”, this event will last for 11 days, starting (5/26-6/5/2025), in the Brawijaya University Library area.
The opening of the festival was carried out symbolically by cutting the ribbon by the Coordinator of UB Library Processing Division, Agung together with Mas Edo from the Buka Buku Festival team, accompanied by enthusiastic applause from the visitors and library staff who present.
With the book prices starting at IDR 10,000 and discounts of up to 80%, the Brawijaya Book Fair presents a variety of reading choices ranging from motivational books, popular fiction, scientific literature, to children’s books and educational references. Attractive promos and best-selling collections from various well-known publishers are the main attractions in this event.
“This festival is not only about book sales, but also a real form of collaboration between campuses and publishers to expand literacy access among students,” said Mas Edo from the Buka Buku Festival team.
This festival is expected to be an educational space as well as literacy entertainment for UB academics and the general public.
