
Kucur Village, which is located in Dau, Malang Regency, will be developed into a Featured Village in the National Mental Revolution Movement Program (GNRM). One of the collaboration programs between the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture and UB Entrepreneurial Innovation and Incubator Agency is by holding the Village Entrepreneurial Technical Guidance on October 5 and 12, 2021.
Stated by the Head of Kucur Village, Abdul Karim, S.Pd, “Kucur Village is one of the villages in Dau District which still has a lot of potential to be developed as Tourism Village area,”. In addition to the potential of cultural arts, Kucur Village also has potential in agriculture and natural scenery. It is hoped that this GNRM program will make Kucur Village have another attraction in the form of typical superior products.

The Director of BIIW UB, Dr. Ir. Setyono Yudo Tyasmoro, MS, said that if village’s featured products are marketed in the digital era, they must have a special strategy. “We have to create content that is interesting and involves the target consumer,” he said.
Content in the form of photos, video stories, articles, audio that is interesting, relevant and valuable is the key to the success of this method. In addition, a well-planned and detailed financial system by classifying business expenses, savings, investment, giving and insurance to maintain the sustainability of the business.
This Entrepreneurial GNRM activity involves the team of BIIW-UB consisting of BIIW-UB Director (Dr. Ir. Setyono Yudo Tyasmoro, MS) BIIW-UB staff (Octavian Ika Sukirno, SE) in collaboration with Ir Ismanto Ari Setiawan ST, MT from CV Damarayu and Dimas Nugroho from Parsa Spirulina tenant.
GNRM in collaboration with the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture has several programs. Besides Technical Guidance for Village Entrepreneurs, there is also Public Health sector led by Dr. Eriko Prawestiningtyas, Sp.F and the Community Teaching program led by Ismatul Khasanah, M.Ed.
