Providing Insights to Driving Safety and the Making of Short Film

The series of training for students receiving the Smart Indonesia Card (KIP) Scholarship for Independent College 2023 Universitas Brawijaya (UB) continues with material on safe driving, making short films. The activity was held at UB’s Widyaloka Building on Thursday (23/11).

The activity was opened by the Vice Rector (VR) III for Student Affairs, Alumni and Student Entrepreneurship Dr. Setiawan Noerdajasakti was accompanied by the Head of the Sub-Directorate of Student Welfare and Entrepreneurship Ilhamudin S, Psi, MA. WR III said that currently UB has more than 70 thousand students which of course has an impact on traffic density.

Good knowledge is needed in driving on the highway for mutual safety. Driving behavior on the highway is very determined by the density conditions on the highway. Safety is of course an important thing that must be prioritized.

“We would like to thank Kopolisian and Astra Honda for their willingness to attend this activity. UB currently has a large student body, this of course has an impact on the density of vehicles around it. We hope that students will gain knowledge about good driving safety in order to create mutual safety,” said the man who is familiarly called Sakti.

It is hoped that UB students can also become ambassadors for driving safety. UB students are given knowledge of making short films. The hope is that they will be able to spread the spirit of good driving, in order to create mutual safety on the road. [pon/UB PR/ Trans. Iir]
