This is shown through their participation in participating in the Djarum Plus scholarship from year to year, even the Djarum Plus scholarship program has now entered its 41st batch. With the opening of registration for the scholarship from May 7 to July 11, 2025, students from semester 4 from various partner campuses can also register. The great enthusiasm was also seen by the presence of hundreds of UB students from various multidisciplinary sciences participating in the socialization of Djarum Plus scholarship for the 2025 period.
Djarum Beasiswa Plus is an achievement-based scholarship for Undergraduate and Diploma 4 students from state and private partner universities. This program not only offers scholarship funds but also other benefits such as soft skills training, character and leadership development, national insight through national building, competitions and even international experiences. Moreover, scholarship recipients will interact with social problems in their respective environments, their involvement in community service activities is expected to realize critical thinking and create a positive impact in the social environment as part of community empowerment.
Head of the Sub Directorate of Student Welfare and Entrepreneurship, Ilhamuddin Nukman, S.Psi, MA revealed that UB is committed to providing scholarship facilities to its students, including for those who have value, not only academic ability but also achievements. UB is a university that is in demand by many scholarship providers, making these programs a form of stakeholder trust in the quality of its students. “Of course we believe that the cumulative achievement index is not only an indicator for scholarship recipients, where I see that 80 percent of all UB students are able to achieve the required GPA limit, but the main differentiation is the value of the students themselves. Not just numbers, other competencies in organizing, active in self-development, achievements in various competitions, even thinking skills that are manifested in real terms, especially problem solving on social issues or providing a positive impact on society. These potentials are what make our students superior and open up great opportunities as recipients of selected scholarships,” he said.
The mechanism for the 2025 Djarum Plus Scholarship is as follows:
S1/D4 students of all majors
Studying in semester 4
GPA 3.00 in semesters 3 and 4
Actively involved in intra-campus and off-campus organizations
Not receiving scholarships from other parties
The selection stages consist of administrative selection (July 12 – July 15), online written test (July 16 – July 29) to the interview process (July 30 – October 5), while the announcement will be planned for October 10, 2025. [UB PR/ Trans. Iir]
