BAZIS Universitas Brawijaya (UB) carried out mass circumcision activities. The activity was carried out in the Corridor of the 1st Floor of the Rectorate Building, Saturday (24/9/2022)
Mass circumcision was carried out to celebrate the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad SAW 1444H. In this activity, as many as 102 children participated in this mass circumcision, which came from the community around UB
The activity was opened directly by UB Rector, Prof. Widodo, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D.Med.Sc accompanied by the Vice Rector II for General Affairs and Finance Prof. Gugus Irianto, SE., MSA., Ph.D., Ak., CA and the Director of BAZIS UB Prof. Dr. Ir. Imam Santoso, MP.
In his speech, Prof. Imam said at the age of 3 years, BAZIS was able to carry out mass circumcision activities. These activities and programs are expected to continue to be implemented in UB.
Meanwhile, Prof. Widodo said that mass circumcision activities can be used as a means of friendship between UB and various stakeholders and the surrounding community.
“UB feels to be part of the surrounding community. Hopefully, UB will be able to provide great benefits for welfare,” he said. (PON/Humas UB/ Trans. Iir).
