Field Assessment of Agricultural Economic Master’s Study Program was Held Successfully

The implementation of the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) field assessment in the Agricultural Economics Master’s Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Brawijaya took place successfully. This activity was carried out in the Senate Hall, Central Building, 5th floor of FP UB.

In this activity, the two main assessors on duty were Prof. Dr. Ir. Irfan Suliansyah, MS. from Universitas Andalas, and Dr. Teguh Endaryanto, SP., M.S from Universitas Lampung. These two assessors have extensive experience in the field of agricultural economics and study program management.

This event was opened by the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Imam Santoso, M.P., who gave a speech and expressed the importance of assessment to improve the quality of education at Universitas Brawijaya.

The Head of the Agricultural Economics Master’s Study Program, Dr. Suhartini, M.P., hopes that the implementation of this assessment will produce maximum results, namely a superior title.

“We are grateful for the participation of all parties in this assessment. It is hoped that the results can become a basis for continuing to improve the quality of education in the Agricultural Economics Master’s Study Program,” said Dr. Suhartini.

This assessment was carried out in various sessions involving the leadership of the study program management unit, partners, stakeholders and alumni. In addition, educational staff and students were also present. These sessions include data confirmation from the Study Program Performance Report (SPPR), Self Evaluation Report (SER), and implementation of internal quality assurance.

Furthermore, there is a special session with management at the Study Program Management Unit (SPMU), which aims to improve coordination and synergy between study program leaders and university management. By implementing good assessments, it is hoped that Universitas Brawijaya can continue to strengthen its position as a superior and quality educational institution, also be able to compete at the international level.
