Raising Learnesia Application, FISIP Students Win Gold Medal at the International Level

Students of FISIP Universitas Brawijaya made another achievement. This time, five FISIP students namely Rachel Priscilia (team leader), Vatia Wahani, Theo Gerald, Tiffany Pamela and Satria Naufal were succeeded to win gold medals at the 2022 Youth International Science Fair (YISF) event.

The success of this team in winning a gold medal after they raised the theme Learnesia: A Training Platform to Uplift Local Wisdom MSME’S Digital Talent Development in Bali. The Team Leader, Rachel Priscillia confirmed that her team won a gold medal in an event organized by Indonesian Young Scientist Association (IYSA).

“Our event, YISF, is an international competition that is a forum for young researchers from all over the world to express their ideas in the form of products or prototypes,” he said to FISIP Public Relation, Monday (28/3/2022).

The 2020 Political Science student revealed that Learnesia application was raised according to the theme raised, namely digital talent and empowering MSMEs in Bali region.

“The general description of Learnesia application is as the name suggests, namely for learning,” he said.

According to Rachel, there is a difference because in this application users will learn about digital skills training that is useful for growing their business.

“The advantage of our application also lies in the idea of ​​training, incubation and funding assistance for MSMEs that meet the requirements,” she said.

At this event there were around 400 participants from various countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, South Korea and several other countries. The Learnesia team from FISIP won a gold medal in the others category. (Humas FISIP/Humas UB/ Trans. Iir)
